Crescent Curriculum is an Islamic educational resource initiative created to make learning about Islam engaging, meaningful, and accessible for growing minds.
Created by Kela Hunte-Ali Crescent Curriculum develops thoughtfully designed digital resources that help children and families learn, explore, and grow in their faith together.
From activity books and learning binders to printable resources, Arabic learning materials, and more, each resource is created with the goal of making Islamic learning both enjoyable and purposeful.
Our Vision: We believe that Islamic education begins with the foundations we build at home and continues throughout a lifetime.
Our vision is to provide families, educators, homeschoolers, and learning communities with quality resources that nurture knowledge, iman, character, and a love for Islam.

About The Founder
- Assalamu Alaikum, my Name is Kela Hunte-Ali Also knows as Ruquyyah Iman I’m the Founder and CEO of Crescent Curriculum.
- As a Muslim revert, my journey has deepened my love for faith-based learning, nurturing young minds, and creating educational resources that support both children and families. Crescent Curriculum was created from my passion for helping children learn in a way that is meaningful, engaging, and rooted in values.
- I am certified in Early Childhood Education Levels One and Two, as well as Adult First Aid with CPR and AED, and Children’s First Aid, CPR, and AED. I have been working with children for 20 years and counting, through tutoring, babysitting, childcare, and other hands-on experiences that have allowed me to support children at different stages of growth and development.
- Children have always held a special place in my heart. I truly love teaching, guiding, and encouraging them as they learn about the world around them. My goal through Crescent Curriculum is to provide resources that make learning simple, beautiful, and beneficial for both parents and educators.
- Outside of my work, I am a wife to my amazing husband, and I look forward to starting a family of my own one day, insha’Allah. My love for children, education, Allah and Islam continues to inspire everything I create through Crescent Curriculum.
